
For over six years, Mary Rowell worked with a noteworthy leader in the employee benefits space: Sheila J. Butler & Company, Inc. Rowell began as an executive assistant to the president of the company, and quickly established her value. Rowell received multiple promotions over the course of her career with the company. Rowell completed her employment with Sheila J. Butler & Company, Inc. as the Operations Manager, in addition to serving on the agency’s Leadership Team.
A recent career change brought Rowell to Promet Source as an Associate Project Manager. She is excited to be a part of a company that values lifelong learning, passion, and teamwork. She aspires to learn and grow long-term with Promet Source.
In academics, Rowell holds degrees in Business Administration (AS, West Georgia Technical College), Management Information Systems (BBA, Magna Cum Laude, University of West Georgia), and Communications/Organizational Leadership (MA, University of Alabama – Roll Tide!). Throughout her academic career, Rowell has been named to numerous honors societies and academic organizations: Phi Beta Lambda, National Technical Honors Society, Phi Kappa Phi, Beta Gamma Sigma, Omega Nu Lambda, National Society of Academic Excellence, and Lambda Pi Eta. Rowell was named on the Dean’s List and the President’s List. At the University of West Georgia, Rowell was named an Ingram Scholar in 2017 and received the Richards College of Business MIS Award of Excellence in 2018.
Rowell gives back to her community through music, as she is a volunteer pianist at Bremen 1st United Methodist Church. Rowell enjoys Pilates, golf, and participating in her neighborhood book club. Rowell resides with her husband, Chad Rowell, and three cats in Carrollton, GA.
