Provus Product Report – August 29, 2025

Every sprint brings the Provus team closer to building a platform that’s not only powerful but also easy to showcase and use. This month, we wrapped up Phase 1 of Ticketing System user testing — a major step that paves the way for the ultimate goal of an awesome new feature that allows for Ticketing System to exist in our site. Now, our focus shifts to refining the experience, addressing open issues, and making sure the system is polished enough for seamless demos.
We also reached another milestone with Provus Meridian, where both user and QA testing are complete. From here, we’re taking what we’ve learned and applying fixes that will ensure a smooth, reliable demo for anyone exploring the platform.
But testing wasn’t the only thing on our plate. Over the past few weeks, the team has been busy behind the scenes making Provus smarter, more accessible, and more intuitive. We imported new CVS data into Provus Meridian, created a dedicated demo user, and simplified key features like the layout builder and list views. Accessibility remains a top priority too — we fixed issues across the platform and introduced the Civic Accessibility Bot, an important step toward a more inclusive web. On top of that, we started planning the future dashboard for the ticketing system and built new template pages to make Provus an even better user experience.
Of course, no sprint is without challenges. With part of the team supporting client projects, progress on some initiatives — like the variables project — has been slower than we’d like. And because Provus isn’t always the top resource priority, it can sometimes feel like we’re moving pieces forward without fully closing them out. Our hope is that better sprint planning will help bring more focus and momentum.
Looking ahead, we’re gearing up for Phase 2 of the ticketing system and continuing to polish Provus so that when it’s demoed, it feels as smooth and intuitive as possible.
