Promet Source prides itself on writing the manual for Drupal training. Here are the answers to some of your frequently asked questions about our Drupal Training Courses.

How do Promet’s Drupal classes differ from other Drupal Training Courses?

Our training practice at Promet Source is led by experienced Drupal instructors and built upon in-the-trenches perspectives. We are an award winning team of Drupal designers, developers, systems architects, site builders, project managers, and more. This first-hand expertise drives the delivery Drupal training that is distinctly relevant and responsive to the distinct needs of class participants.

What are the qualifications of your instructors?

Promet instructors are experienced Drupal developers with long-standing ties to the Drupal community, and consistently high ratings from participants in their Drupal classes. A high percentage of Promet’s developers and Drupal instructors are Acquia certified.

What is the format of your Drupal training courses?

Unless noted in the course description, Promet training classes are a combination of instruction by a live instructor and hands-on exercises that allow class participants to apply the principles and techniques learned during the course. The instructor is available to answer questions and provide assistance as class participants work through each exercise. A course manual, complete with step-by-step instructions for each exercise, is provided to each class participants  for continued learning after the class.

What if my team is not available for any of the class times offered?

Teams of six or more who are interested in one of Promet’s Drupal classes may find it more convenient to schedule a private team training. This offers the opportunity to customize the instruction around a team’s specific needs. Private training is available for all of our publicly available courses for teams of six to 10 and can be scheduled at your team’s convenience.

Does completion of the Drupal 9 Developer Immersion class qualify me as an Acquia Certified Developer?

Promet’s Drupal Immersion curriculum is closely aligned with the Acquia Developer certification exam and often, individuals register for Promet’s five-day Drupal Immersion Class as a preparation for the Acquia Certification exam. Completion of the course, however, does not automatically qualify a person as an Acquia Certified Developer.

My organization requires that I first submit an invoice. What options are there for payment?

Promet will work with you to provide the documentation your organization needs to facilitate payment for your course registration. Estimates or quotes can be provided for those seeking approval for funding. Once the funding is approved, our finance team will issue an invoice that can be paid via personal or corporate check or by ACH transfer directly from your bank account. Payment by credit card is also an option but does incur a processing fee of 3.5%.

Can I purchase one registration and host a virtual viewing event for my team at our office, or must everyone on my team purchase an individual registration?

Our training is individualized to the needs of each participant and each class participant requires a separate registration. If your team has six or more members interested in one of Promet’s scheduled training courses, it could be more cost effective to schedule a private team training session instead. Private training sessions are available for all of our publicly available courses for teams of six to 10m and can be scheduled at your convenience. Please contact us for pricing for multiple registration options or private team training.

What is your refund policy?

We offer several options for registrants to one of our Drupal classes who then find that they are unable to participate on the scheduled date. Promet will work with you to reschedule for an upcoming class date that fits your schedule.

We offer a variety of courses each month and can generally accommodate switching you to another class date. Paid course registrations can also be transferred to a colleague if none of the upcoming class dates will fit your schedule.
