The Path to Purchase Institute is a global association serving the needs of retailers, brands and the entire ecosystem of solution providers along the path to purchase. Through a variety of platforms the Institute engages, informs and empowers its members and the industry at large while fostering best practices and a deeper understanding of all marketing efforts and touch-points that influence and culminate in purchase decisions.
The Path to Purchase Institute (P2Pi), a global organization that helps retailers, agencies and brands connect with consumers along the path to purchase, came to Promet with an outdated site running on a version of Drupal 6. They wanted an upgraded site that would run on Drupal 7 so that it could implement a responsive design theme. While upgrading to a newer version of Drupal, P2Pi was also seeking more efficient tools for enhancing their membership sign up and management process. Promet Source developed, tested and launched responsive design concepts for the site and continues to serve P2Pi in an ongoing Support role.
Promet Source engaged P2Pi on many levels to achieve their goals for a new Drupal site. Looking at the project holistically, Promet conducted interviews and workshops with stakeholders at all levels of the P2Pi organization and user base. The redesign called for an in depth user experience Discovery to identify obstacles with their old site. The end result of the Discovery process was a site that fulfills membership needs and presents all of the valuable editorial content in a clean, easy-to-find layout.
