Amy was the best Project Manager in Boston, Massachussettes* so she came to Chicago to work with la creme de la creme of web development management. This isn't her first residency in the midwest; she received her Bachelor's from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and is overjoyed to be back in the land of giant pizza and encased meats.
With a Master's degree in Library Science from Simmons College, Amy has an acute understanding of information organization and management. Unsatisfied with the smell of stale book collections, Amy pursued a career in web development. With a certification in project management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute, Ms. Basque is a force to recognized - making projects succeed against all odds. Promet Source welcomes her experience as a web developer and project manager obtained from years working in the higher ed sector - most recently with Wheelock College.
Amy is cool as a refrigerated cucumber at work. Probably because her outlets for stress include Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (she often spars with large males) and quilting. Amy is currently trying to establish a new form of martial arts which combines Jiu Jitsu and quilting ("Kick-Patching") so she can save time to allow for her other passion, spice identification while blindfolded.

Brie McInerney comes to Promet Source from the Fortune500 world. Her extensive background includes working for Morgan Stanley, Avis Budget Group, Constellation Energy and Reader’s Digest. She has a range of experience managing projects for design, development, release and support of digital assets and brings expertise in Agile Development and UX/UI methodology. Her experience with customer insights and user-testing are a value-add for our current and potential clients. Her MBA frequently comes in handy whenever she analyzes business goals of her clients or makes decisions about what is for dinner.
As the eldest of six, Brie has had experience in project management since she was in diapers - starting with a family holiday play about ostriches that she devised and oversaw. She still remains close to her family but misses her daily swims in the ocean in her hometown in Florida.
Kabenla has been developing for over a decade after graduating from Grinnell College with a degree in Computer Science. In his prior position, he was the Senior Software Engineer/In-house Support and Networking Manager at Wilhelm Imaging Research (can you say all that in one breath?). Like many of our other developers, Kabenla does not come home from work to put on bunny slippers and watch Jeopardy! Nope - he keeps developing software. One impressive, if not thought-defying application is GravitySim (available on iTunes) - a simulation of Newtonian gravity.
Originally from Ghana, Kabenla has lived in the states for over ten years where he has fallen in love with flying aircrafts and mountain biking. While his English is perfect, he learned his slang from a book published in 1993; ignore him if he suggests "Don't have a cow." The only thing not to like about Kabenla is his severe hatred for cheese.
Jinky is the General Manager in Promet's Philippines office. She is responsible for handling key areas in PH Promet including financial management, human resources management, legal contracts and administrative management. Aside from that, Jinky provides support in project management, marketing and sales.
Prior to Promet, she was an Advocacy Officer in a Cebu-based children’s NGO. After that, she worked extensively in Human Resources for multiple corporations. Jinky attended law school and worked as a paralegal for three years in a highly regarded Singapore-based law firm.
Melissa Gonzalez is an MBA project manager who was aptly nicknamed “The Safety Net” in previous positions. And no; she was not working at a low-budget circus waiting for trapeze artists to fall on her. Instead, she was working with Clese, VisaNow and Latinos Progesando, among others. Melissa fits in with all of the over-achievers at Promet; in her history, she expanded and grew web-based global immigration services by 60% as the Manager of Global Services for a leading web-based legal services company.
She is diligent and detail-oriented in her approach to project management. She seeks to be our clients’ partner in support. In fact, she measures her success by how many Thanksgiving invitations she receives from clients; Promet truly enjoys that gravy-soaked chart.
Chief People Officer
Denise brings her passion for people into her role as Chief People Officer at Promet Source. With over a decade of HR experience, Denise has a concentrated history in the tech industry (which she adores). She has worked for DARC Corporation, XOR Inc, Apartments.com and more. A graduate of the University of Illinois, Denise holds a degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Denise put it best, "I focus on the culture trifecta: people, value and capacity. My goal is to captivate the culture that is unique to Promet and leverage it into business success.”
Future Prometsters, prepare thyselves! Denise is ready to recruit the living jello out of you! She will dazzle you with her finesse with staffing, onboarding, organizational development, employee relations, and all the things that have to do with Promet's greatest asset: our people! We hope she adds to our already amazing benefits policy with a program that involves trampolines but we might have to settle for her favorite Polish recipe which includes sour milk and young beet leaves.
Vincent comes to Promet after a tenure with IBM Solutions. He brings extensive systems administration work experience, as well as networking and security with a history in open source and commercial enterprise. Like many of the Promet smarty-pants, Vincent studied Computer Engineering with a focus on Computer Networks.
While he might be a quiet, observing type, Promet has discovered he'll open right up if you simply treat him to lunch. Give him a free sandwich and he'll talk with you about economy, urban development, autonomy or history. Away from the office, Vincent can be found playing with his son or listening to a dizzying array of eclectic music.
Allan is an experienced web developer from the SaaS (Software as a Service) world with specialties in Continuous Integration and Automated Testing. He has worked on a variety of architectures since he graduated from Devry University of Irving, Texas. He is a frequent participant and contributor in the Drupal Community, specifically with the Dallas Drupal Users Group. As a well-respected leader in the community, Allan frequently teaches his techniques and methodologies to groups of Drupal leaders/users.
Promet's "Genius in Overalls" loves the outdoors; fishing, kayaking and hiking are just a few of his favorite activities. When Allan is working, you can expect him to be listening to a wide variety of music: country, heavy metal, easy-listening and dub step.
Fun fact: Allan has a twin brother with whom he shares a sophisticated language based on Greek and dolphin sounds.
As a toddler, Jenna Reardon didn't play with toys; she organized them. Today, Jenna works as an Account Manager for Promet Source. In this role, she applies her talents in organization, communication and leadership to all of her projects, clients and team members. "Rome wasn't built in a day" because Jenna did not manage the project.
After graduating from Carnegie Mellon with a double major in Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering*, she began a professional engineering career at Procter & Gamble where she managed Global Package Design & Device development projects. Soon after, she realized she had a curiosity in design and sought a career that coupled this with her passion for problem solving and analytics. The simple answer: Web Development. With years of experience in UI/UX, market analysis and corporate branding, Jenna is a valued member of the Promet team. She works closely with each client to turn their visions into technical solutions.
When she's not being a management tour de force, Jenna loves traveling to oceans, tinkering on her piano (she plays a futuristic rendition of Moonlight Sonata) and occasional tomfoolery.
*Promet Source is still wondering if there is anything she cannot do.

Senior Drupal Developer
This guy. He's been programming, developing, coding, consulting, managing and killing it since the invention of the Sony Walkman.
His career has included sophisticated nerd work in a variety of industries for companies like Idea Den, Nortel Networks, Raindear Media, Motorola, Moreau Chocolates (yum), ComTel, HBO & Company, and more. Rumor has it that Bryan once led an 8 person team to deliver a 6 month project in 6 short weeks!
Bryan was inspired by music (weren't we all?) to pursue a career in technology. As a youngster, he read in Tiger Beat that the future of music was digital; so, he bought a sythesizer, enrolled in computer school and the rest is history. Somewhere between recording an electro-jungle style version of Swan Lake and developing the cult classic computer game, Stooge Invaders, he became a bonafied Drupal developer. To this day, he still enjoys digital music recording when he isn't feeding his Koi fish.
While his title is Senior Drupal Developer, Bryan prefers to be called "Senor Drupal Developer" as a nod to his favorite dish, paella.
Karen Da Cruz's passion for agility started when she toured the Chanchamaya rain forest near her hometown in Lima, Peru. There, she was fascinated by the agility of the Masked Titi monkey and she has used that monkey as her totem animal, guiding her in Agile Project Management.* A certified Scrum Master, Karen is no stranger to managing large teams to fulfill customer requirements across multiple applications. She learned to write HTML before she learned to drive and has been a veritable tech geek ever since - going on to programming, front-end devlopment, systems engineering, digital marketing and finally, Agile Management. After earning diplomas in Systems Engineering and Digital Marketing, she embarked on a career that has included roles at IMRSV.com, IBM, Moving Interactive and IDC. Impressed already? Brace yourself. Karen is also a co-founder of Women in Technology in Peru, a national outreach program providing support and education for young women in technology.
At Promet Source, she is known for her technical blogs for the Spanish audience. Sadly, the curator of the blog cannot read them so they very well could just be diary entries about her day trips to the Incan ruins or her Japanese Manga drawings. Based on her high-tech history, we trust that they are chock-full of great advice.
*The rain forest/monkey story was fabricated. Although, she is both Peruvian and dedicated to Agile Development, so who knows?
Chief Technology Officer
Johnnie Fox was given a name that ensured success. Just say "Johnnie Fox" aloud; you'll feel like you're saying the name of someone famous...And you are! Johnnie is famous for Agile Development, Sprint 0 Planning, Software Development, Web Development, Drupal Dominance and smiling! Just ask the Drupal community who lines up to hear him lecture on his development and management expertise. Our Project Manager brings a wealth of experience managing custom development software projects (in numerous languages and platforms). Further, he has "superhero" skills in identifying and solving client needs. He is so commited to his clients, that he has been known to address client issues from a hospital bed.*
If you ever want to join him on a motorcycle ride, give him a call. Promet Source is not liable for any injuries resulting from this venture.
*Promet did not ask, demand or suggest that Johnnie work from the hospital; he couldn't help but deliver excellent customer service.
Ask Anthony about his special skills in web development, and you'll receive an extensive list of "funny computer lingo": Drupal, CakePHP, CodeIgnitor, Symfony, Ruby, MySQL, Postgres, SQLite3, Angular JS, Backbone JS, SASS and more (seriously, a LOT more; that was 10% of the list). These skills started when he was still a young man in high school when he built his first website centered around the golf community and stat tracking. Many of these skills were honed when he earned his degree in Computer Engineering from Kettering University. Of course, most of the skills were solidified on-the-job for clients such as the San Francisco Symphony, Loyola University Health System and the New York Philharmonic.
He sounds fancy, right? He is! But, Anthony is a mere mortal as evidenced by his adult love for cartoons, obsession for golf and tendency to injure himself whilst performing home improvements. Fun fact: Anthony is deeply intrigued by "the unknown" and has developed a shortened commute to Promet using a wormhole as a short cut. Unfortunately, this theoretical passage is currently inaccessible.
Finance and Administration Manager
Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Russia Elena attended the University of Aerospace and Instrumentation where she studied Business Administration and Management. After school, she began her career working in the health, cosmetics, automobile and real estate industries. In 2008, Elena packed her bags and left Mother Russia for Chicago. Before she joined Promet, she worked in the non-profit sector including an adult literacy center. In her tenure at Promet, she has loved watching the company grow and welcoming new employees. While Elena rules finance, accounting and HR with a Russian hand, her presence at Promet is that of kindness and joy. She loves how international the company is - welcoming of internationally diverse talent and clientele.
Elena loves the USA, and particularly enjoys the sound of the English words "umbrella" and "established". But, she misses the Russian sound of her nickname, "Lenochka". If you master that pronunciation, you will automatically be her best friend.
Web and Support Developer
John Ross is a seasoned Web Developer who works on Drupal site development, customization, site building, bug fixes, feature and functionality implementation, client support and more. Away from his computer and clients, John Ross can be found reading books, watching movies, hiking, exploring beaches, running marathons and jogging. His life is typically underscored by his favorite musical band, The Script.
Douglas Dobrzynski started his career at the astounding age of 11 as a child prodigy developer. He comes to Promet Source from Grinnell College where he served in a senior development position within their Web Services Department. In this position, Doug founded the “Web Help Desk” which grew 300% under his guidance. Specializing in Drupal Migration, Agile Development, Theming and Drupal Maintenance, Doug focuses on Support Development.
As a child, Doug dreamed of becoming an herbivorous dinosaur. These dreams were surpassed the day he joined the Promet team. We allow him to roar.
After earning his degree in Computer Science, RJ has enjoyed working as a systems/web developer. In this role, he has built various types of systems, custom cms and websites (brochures, ecommerce, content publishing, event sites). His skills are powered by a combination of desktop and web applications that give him the flexibility to adapt to any kind of software development tasks.
He discovered Drupal in 2012 and immediately fell in love with it because of it's simple User-Interface but powerful backend system. Before Promet, he worked with Kite Systems where he was able to delve into the intricacies of all things Drupal.
RJ is also a certified demandware developer; he likes reading about new technology and well-known developer blogs; he has mastered playing the guitar.

In addition, Arnold contributes to custom module development and the installation & configuration of Drupal modules. Prior to Promet, Arnold worked at Eversun Software and Taniwha Solutions in the Philippines contributing to Drupal, Wordpress and eCommerce development.
Arnold has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology from West Visayas State University.
When not contributing code, Arnold is watching movies or listening to techno music.
David has been working in tech since before the blink tag - he remembers cringing the first time he saw it. That's tech language for "I don't want to tell you my age, but trust me; I've got street cred." He comes to Promet from Association Headquarters where he was Director of Web Services and his projects earned awards including an ASAE 'Power of A' Silver Award. Unfortunately, the award itself was not made of the precious element.
David has worked as a web designer, UI/UX specialist, front end developer and project manager for projects within Drupal and beyond. With an M.A. in Creative Writing Temple University, David excels at critical reading and interpretation (turning requirements into products), understanding narrative structures (storymapping and user behavior), and the group workshop critique (managing creative teams). Further, he can craft an email like nobody's business! If the Pulitzer Foundation ever introduces a prize for email writing, David would win! We shall dream! As a Project Manager, David is polite, organized, thorough and attentive. He says, "I want to help companies and organizations reach out to users in the mosty authentic way possible and help them tell their story." Irresistable, eh?
Away from the office, David is a well-rounded artist: photographer, musician (multiple instruments), filmmaker... He and his wife enjoy chess, competitive rocking horse derbies, antique hunting and artistic interpretations of Moby Dick.
Support Project Manager
Kevin knows his way around charts and graphs...He has been creating and analyzing them for years! He comes to Promet after working in Analytics for TXU Energy. His favorite genre of analysis (yes, analysis comes in genres) is root-cause analysis; criticality equations really tickle his fancy. Kevin is also tops at forecasting, operations analysis, process management and smile generation.
With a degree in Marketing from Northern Illinois University, Kevin is excited "To support Promet’s growth by assisting the project management and sales teams, while expanding my knowledge in web development." Isn't he delightful?
When his face isn't buried in statistics, Kevin can be found dancing around the country to live music, snowboarding and perfecting his scrapbook that outlines his experience with unusual cuisine (the chapter on goose sausages is riveting). Fun fact: Kevin has been mistaken twice for a mannequin - probably because he's so darn charming...And can hold really still.
Donnabel is truly a belle (as her name implies). She has been working with Promet as a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst for more than 6 years. A consummate professional, she loves providing service with a smile to her clients and her projects.
Web Development and QA are not her only talents; Donnabel is a fierce singer and dancer as well. When it's time to relax, you can find her watching anime, reading fiction or planning world expeditions.

Talking with him is like opening a treasure chest; you might analyze an Agile development manifesto or Continuous Integration. You might discuss the composition of his favorite wine or his misadventures in Mozambique. Maybe you'll chat about new technology, family, the American dream or life as experience. Whatever your conversation entails, you'll walk away with a new friend and a trusted ally in development.

Rory joined Promet as chief of content marketing in early 2015. He is a solver of riddles, a destroyer of tacos and an avid urban cyclist who can be found spinning his wheels on Chicago's streets and lakefront trails when he isn't too busy trying to read the entire Internet in one sitting. Rory's background in digital marketing and journalism make him comfortable in the world of Drupal and open source development, where the emphasis on collaboration and sharing jive really well with his belief that a good story demands to be told. Rory has certifications and expertise in leading digital marketing platforms such as Google Analytics, AdWords and Hubspot.
A native of Chicago's northern suburbs, Rory has called the City of the Big Shoulders home for most of his life except for a few years he spent teaching English along China's east coast.
