Promet at Drupal Camp Asheville 2012

Drupal Camp Asheville brings together Drupal developers, designers, business owners, or anyone who wants to learn and share ideas about Drupal.

Promet Source is proud to be one of the sponsors for this event and Promet's scrum master, Johnnie Fox, and Chris Calip, a web developer, will be presenting at two sessions.

In Johnnie's presentation, Succeeding with Fixed Budgets, he will walk us through a case study showing how a mixture of Agile methodology, Drupal, and fixed budget planning can be used to successfully deliver a project on time and on budget. Johnnie has presented sessions on agile project management at Drupal Camps including this year's CapitalCamp in DC and Drupal Camp Nashville.

The second presentation, Automating Testing at Every Stage, is an in-depth look at how we have automated our testing process using Phing, Jenkins, PHPunit, Selenium, and Chef. "I'm looking forward to collaborating with fellow Drupalers on Continuous Integration Automated Testing," says Chris Calip, presenter and web developer at Promet. "We have spent a lot of hours building the CI infrastructure and I'm excited to share it at Drupal Camp Asheville." Continuous Integration Automated Testing was also the winning project at this month's Hackathon at Promet.

If you are going to Drupal Camp Asheville, catch these presentations tomorrow, August 18 at 2 pm (Succeeding with Fixed Budgets) and 3 pm (Automating Testing at Every Stage). We will also be sharing the full presentations on this blog. To view the full program schedule for Drupal Camp Asheville, click here.
