Founded in 1918, the Retail Bakers of America (RBA), a 501c6 not-for-profit trade association of approximately 2,000 retail bakeries, allied suppliers and other members, is committed to the success of the retail baking industry. The mission of the Retail Bakers of America is to improve the operation and profitability of retail bakeries. They are a baker’s business partner connecting buyers and sellers-retailers and suppliers, as well as consumers and retailers-to build profitable bakeries. They foster the community of retail bakeries providing a forum for exchange of industry and business information, as well as networking, learning opportunities and mentoring among bakers, future and existing. The vision of RBA is to have retail bakeries become the desired destination for consumer purchase of all retail baked goods.
